Away Travel Arrangements 2010/11 In a continued
attempt to offer value for money travel, the Supporters Club Committee have,
after lengthy discussions, decided to implement a change to travel arrangements
for the coming season. Due to the low numbers that chose to travel last season,
we are looking at the option of using self drive 17 seat minibuses, and seats
will be sold on a first come first served basis. Should numbers warrant a
larger vehicle, we will then revert to using a larger bus or coach on hire from
Lynn’s Travel. Due to the logistics of self drive hire, in order to simplify our pricing
structure, away travel will be arranged at one price per seat regardless of age
of the travelling Supporter, and to this end, travel will be made available to Supporters Club members only. We
will be implementing a “shut off” time for bookings as we will need to know the
size of vehicle in advance to allow us to get the correct sized vehicle on
standby. We hope that our members understand the need for this action, as in
the present economic climate, the Supporters Club wished to make travel as
affordable as possible and to avoid huge financial losses.

AWAY TRAVEL CODE OF CONDUCT Whilst travelling with Eastbourne Borough F.C. Supporters Club, we ask for your co-operation in complying with the following:- ABUSEof Supporters Club Committee Members will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Please remember we are unpaid volunteers, we may not get things right all the time, but we do our best on your behalf.
Foul Language will not be tolerated on board coach(es) or bus(es). No SMOKINGat any time on the coach(es) or bus(es).
No Alcoholto be carried or consumed under any circumstances on coach(es) or bus(es).
TRANSPORT TO AND FROM AWAY GAMES : Coaches and buses leave the away ground for the journey home at 5.15pm for afternoon fixtures or 10pm for evening matches, unless you are advised to the contrary by a Supporters Committee member on the day.
It is always a shame when "do's" and don'ts" have to be set out in writing in this fashion. However the committee have recently experienced several cases where the behaviour and conduct of certain individuals have has been detrimental to the interest of the well behaved majority of the Borough fans travelling with the Supporters Club.
PLEASE be aware that failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in future requests to travel on Supporters Club coaches being declined Eastbourne Borough Supporters Club Committee 13th January 2005.

AWAY TRAVEL FOR UNDER 16's
Following advice from the Football Supporters Federation, with immediate effect we are no longer able to accept requests to travel to away fixtures on Supporters Club Coaches from under 16 year olds, unless accompanied on the day by a parent, (or relative at the discretion of the S.C. Committee.) We regret having to take this step, but in todays world of litigation, health & safety, etc, the Supporters Club Committee feels obliged to take this necessary action. We would also like to take this opportunity to confirm that the Supporters Club does not accept responsibility for the conduct, safety or supervision of any of its members/passengers while traveling to or at away games, our commitment is solely to provide transport to away venues. This applies to ALL away fixtures where transport is arranged by E.B.F.C. Supporters Club. The committee reserves the right to request proof of date of birth where appropriate.
